Les assistants de langue du collège sont en train de rencontrer les différentes classes de l’établissement.

Les élèves de 3e4 et de 5e1 ont écrit deux articles sur Ethan, l’assistant d’anglais, après sa visite dans leur classe. Les questions posées étant assez différentes selon les classes, voici les deux textes !

Who is Ethan ?
By the class of 5°1

His name is Ethan. He is twenty-two years-old.
His birthday is on April 24th (twenty-fourth).
He is American, he is from Winter Harbor but he lives in Quimper.
He has got one brother. He is not married.
His parents are Dan and Victoria.

He likes American football but his favourite hobby is sailing.
He loves food. His favourite restaurant is barbecue. His favourite drink is lemonade.
His favourite colour is blue. His favourite animal is the cat.
His favourite country is secret. His favourite city is Prague.
His favourite TV show is the Simpsons. He loves reading.

Our New Language Assistant
by the class of 3°4

His full name is Ethan Merrill-Brouder. He is 22 years-old and he was born on the 24th of April 2000 in Cumberland, in the United States. His grandfather was born in Brittany !
Now he is living in Quimper to work as a language assistant with our school and with Lycée Chaptal. He looks nice and cheerful.

He comes from Winter Harbor, a little town with only 120 inhabitants. He lives by the mountains, the forest and the ocean. He loes Nature and he would love to live in the forest like an ermit.

Ethan’s parents are artists and silversmiths. His mother’s name is Victoria, she is sixty years-old, and his father, Dan, is sixty years-old, too. He has one brother, his name is James and he is twenty-one years-old. He has one cat, Bomber, it is black.

Ethan loves doing sports, especially Nordic skiing, hiking, sailing, fishing and mountain-climbing. On a photo, we can see him climbing next to a frozen waterfall. He often goes fishing and he is actually a sailing coach. He has loved the sea since he was a child because his father was a captain and he was growing up on a ship.

He likes watching westerns but he doesn’t like video games. He prefers playing board games, his favourite is Risk. He watches American football, but he doesn’t play.

Ethan wants to be a literary critic or a teacher, that is why he loves reading and writing. He would love to visit Eastern Europe because his mother has Czechoslovakian origins and maybe settle in Europe one day.
